If you believe it to be so dangerous and reckless, the boom box is the last thing you should bring. I doubt we'll run into anyone nefarious down there, but I'd rather not give them advance notice of our arrival. Bringing something hefty would be a good idea, though. Something you can swing. We don't have our firearms here.
