I have to say, I disagree with the practice of forcing people into law enforcement. It's irresponsible, and a violation of both those who have been forced into it and those they govern.
I'm not so naive as to suggest you ask for an audience with Enma. He's even more enigmatic than my employer, and while I've been here for a number of months, I've yet to meet the Daitengu in person. But Captain Shiki seemed like a sensible enough sort.

The Sutoku clan largely specializes in information gathering and commerce. Our territory has been at the centre of some scuffles between Tamamo and Shuten, and the Daitengu caused a fuss by faking his death some months ago, but we're called upon neither to entertain nor to fight, so it suits me perfectly well.
